Canesú is a series of 18 works on paper created during lockdown in 2020. The series started by cutting up and rearranging woodcut prints and then reworking on them with drawing, sewing and fabric. The abstract imagery references sewing itself and organic and natural forms and shapes. The creative process was unplanned and intuitive, it unfolded in the making.

Each piece is unique, measures 21.5X29cm.

Canesú es una serie de 18 obras sobre papel creadas durante el confinamiento en 2020. La serie comenzó cortando y reorganizando xilografías para luego reelaborarlos con dibujo, costura y tela. Las imágenes abstractas hacen referencia a la costura en sí y a formas orgánicas y naturales. El proceso creativo no fue planeado si no intuitivo, se fue desarrollando procesualmente.
